The Action Bible: Book Review

In yesterdays POST I mentioned The Action Bible, how I first found out about it and the impact it had on one of the families in my church. Today I want to take a closer look at the book itself.

From Creation to the fall of Man.
From David and Goliath to Solomon’s Temple.
From the birth of Jesus’ to death on the cross to His resurrection to His ascension into Heaven.
One after another the familiar and important stories of the Bible are told with art work that is both appealing an modern. In the style of the graphic novels popular with later elementary kids through middle and even high school The Action Bible is attractive and engaging.
What it is not: The Action Bible is not a complete translation of the Bible.
What it Is: It is a very successful attempt to  depict many of the stories of the Bible that create the foundations of our Christian beliefs.
The bottom line is this: if you are looking for a picture Bible with modern art work that your own kids, or the kids in your ministry will LOVE, this is it.
Check out this video to get a better idea of what The Action Bible is all about.

Both my daughters love to read Comic-style books, and this bible will make it easier to explain the bible to them, and also the stories and miracles in the bible.

Right now, our 3-year wants to know why Jesus had to die.

    So this bible will help.
